Why did Engage Wrestling sign you?: Since 2012, Lex Collins has been steadily making his mark on the pro wrestling business, graduating from the indy scene in several noteable (and now defunct) promotions such as Full Throttle Wrestling, the Netflix-only reboot of Pro Championship Wrestling, innovative independent wrestling to global promotions such as Sex & Violence Wrestling and the Las Vegas-based Sin City Wrestling. Over the course of the last four years, he's gained himself quite a cult following online, managing to connect with the fanbase as a sort of 'working class hero'. While he's not at his most charismatic when cameras are rolling, his no-nonsense approach to a good clean fight generally draws a crowd.

Personality Overview: Lex grew up in an abusive home and escaped as soon as he was seventeen – the only reason he lasted that long was through sheer luck in managing to hide the situation from authorities (goes without saying that this is NOT public knowledge). As a result of his childhood abuse, Collins suffers from avoidant personality disorder although he manages to camouflage this behind an air of stoicism. Collins is quiet by nature, oddly calm and detached. He struggles with depression as well as social anxiety (both of which he has admitted to publicly on social media) and has found a way to cope with the latter by pre-recording most of his promo work in audio only format and posting it via his YouTube channel.
Why they’d be cheered: He has an uncanny knack for emotionally connecting with the majority of the fans, finding himself becoming a sort of 'blue-collar hero' over the last several years through his meteoric rise from the indies to main event success in the big leagues.
Why they’d be booed: His verbal communication skills are lacking and he has a tendency to speak in riddles or mixed metaphors that have been taken the wrong way by both friends and enemies alike. Depending who he manages to inadvertently piss off, this could end up coming back to bite him with the fanbase.
Reasons to Compete:
- Bloodlust: Your character is a fighter at heart and gets a thrill from violence. For them, winning and losing is secondary to being able to spill the blood of another human being.

Attitude towards Teamwork:

Wrestling Style:
- The Technician: Relies on a catch-as-catch-can style of wrestling, featuring a variety of suplexes, submission holds and ground based wrestling.
- The Strong Stylist: Relies on hard-hitting (often stiff) moves and sharp strikes. Whether it’s punches, chops, kicks, throws or submission holds, this fighter wants to hit hard, hit fast and hurt their foes.
In-Ring Attitude: 100% focus on the opponent and fight, as though the fans aren't there until the match is over. Then and ONLY THEN would he acknowledge them.
Tendency to End Fights:
- Outwrestle: Beats the opponent using their preferred wrestling style.
- Outlast: Uses their superb conditioning to wait for the opponent to tire, before ending the fight on their terms.
In-Ring Strengths:
- Cerebral Brawling: he calls it 'seeing the circles', but has an uncanny ability to anticipate the opponent's next move and adapt.
- Methodical: able to make a game plan and stick to it without getting rattled.
- Cardio Master: from his days as a long distance runner and a boxer, he has tons of stamina
In-Ring Weaknesses:
- Social Anxiety: if the crowd gets too rowdy or the match spills to the outside and gets too close to the barrier, he can lose focus.
- Lack of Strength: he's not weak by any stretch but he's not going to be lifting anyone over his head for a gorilla press, that's for sure.
- Temper: If someone crosses the line and brings his personal life (especially his wife) into things, he has a tendency to go off.
