You're not competing on the first show, but can you confirm if you'll be there? Furthermore, which of the five matches has you most intrigued as a viewer and why?
Oh I'll be there. I'm in. I'm in like Flynn. And not only will I be there, but I'm bringing my new partner in crime, the yin to my yang, the Starsky to my Hutch, the Riggs to my Murtaugh.
As far as what match intrigues me, they all intrigue me. So much talent under one roof, it's hard to pick a match I'm most excited for. I'm just happy to be part of it all. It's a great time to be Walter Hobbs. A great time.
Walter, this coming Sunday you find yourself in a battle royal against Voidstar, Keegan and Christian Valentine. Engage's first battle royal match up. What's your opinion of being apart of this milestone in Engage?
In the tradition of other great combat sports promotions, if you were asked to, without including yourself if applicable, to look back at Engage 1: Origins and award both a Match Of The Night and a Performance Of The Night, which match and which athlete would you award them to?

A milestone, I like the sound of that. I hadn't thought about it that way. I was thinking more in terms of horror show, bloodbath, the scariest day of my life. But perhaps I need to take a glass-half-full approach to this. Walt Hobbs in a milestone match, a first, a trendsetting event. I like it. I'm feeling a little better.
If you had to select anyone on the roster for a match up, in any kind of match you wanted. Assuming its not for any kind of title. Who would you pick and what match stipulation would you add?
@scott If I was to give you $100, who would you place your money on to win each of the matches this weekend and why?
I'm not much of a betting man, not ever since the Wheel of Fortune slots at Ballys brought out the beast in me that night back in '07. Atlantic City is the Devil's Playground.
No, I think I'd take the $100 and invest it, conservatively probably. I'm thinking mutual funds, perhaps diversify.

Well, I'll say this, I was scrolling through some of the comments of my colleagues, and that Isaac Tarver seems like an upstanding gentleman and a scholar of the game. A traditional match, mano a mano combatico, as the Spaniards would say.
