This thread will remain pinned to the top of the Handler Hub board and is open to any sort of suggestion you have for the fed.
Is there something you'd like to see? An idea you've seen executed successfully elsewhere? Anything - anything at all - you feel you'd like to suggest to the overall betterment of the fed as a whole, we'd love to hear from you.
Alternatively, you may decide to DM me privately over an idea you have? In that case, simply send to Jeremy King as that's my primary account.
As per The Pledge, we take all suggestions on board and discuss their feasibility with you. Whether they will work or won't work, we'll definitely have a discussion about it together.
Thanks very much
Dave

Y'know what? I did. I accidentally posted in the Preview pane the first time, and it did that wonky PB spacing thing, so I deleted it and posted it a second time in the BBCode tab so it would be spaced correctly.
Didn't even notice the money until about 12 hours later.

Cool. So long as it's not a plug-in glitch, I'm happy with that.
I wanted to suggest a change to the scoring/judging rubric, one that I think would make things less repetitive. Basically, the idea would be that instead of the highest scoring of a handler's two RPs being the one that counts, that the highest score across each of the three categories over their total output for the cycle would count. For example, if a handlers 2 RPs for a match were judged as follows:
I think that the effect of this would be that a handler wouldn't have to eat up valuable words making the same points & arguments in BOTH roleplays in order to know that they would count for something. It would mean less people leaving those 10 argument points on the table, and more creativity from those who never would.

I understand the suggestion and I'll perhaps put that to a democratic vote. Reason being, it doesn't affect me as someone who marks the pieces, but it will affect the handlers - whether it's a positive or negative affect will be down to each individual.
Let me put together a referendum of sorts (hot topic!) and give you guys a vote on it.
