Georgia was walking fairly quickly through a familiar building – Fresh Studios. She was headed to the exact area where Engage was recorded. When she spotted a young intern she quickened her pace.
“Hi, it’s Matt, right?”
The young man smiled in recognition.
“Yeah, good to see you.
Georgia turned and smirked to the camera, which she had following behind her, before turning her attention back to Matt.
“You do remember me then?”
He laughed nervously as he glanced to the camera; he was unsure what was going on.
“Yeah, how could I forget? You’re Georgia.”
“That’s great! I know this might sound strange, but could you look straight into that camera and confirm that I was here on Sunday?”
If it meant getting her attention, he was happy to oblige.
“Yeah man, she was here on Sunday. You should’ve seen her, didn’t stop watching that ring for a second. She didn’t even get up to take a leak; which is crazy cuz’ I didn’t stop bringing her drinks.”
He winked to her with a flirtatious smile.
“No you didn’t, but I wasn’t going to miss a thing. I put my entire focus into everything I do; no one can afford to take their eye off the ball. Thanks for your help.”
She smiled to him and then gestured for the camera to follow her again as she continued down the corridor.
“So, maybe see you at some point this Sunday too?”
Matt could be heard shouting after her but Georgia was already moving on with her mission. It wasn’t long before she spotted someone else.
“Excuse me!”
She called after them, which caused the woman to look back and stop.
“Hi, I didn’t catch your name, but I’m just wondering if you remember me from Sunday?”
It was a perky blonde who Georgia had reached out to this time.
“OMG of course! I like, totally remember your accent!”
Georgia smiled at her and asked her the same thing that she had just asked of Matt.
“Great! Is there any chance you could tell that camera that I was here on Sunday?”
The pretty blonde’s eyes lit up.
“Oh my gosh! Am I going to be on TV?”
“Not quite, it’s for the Engage website.”
“Awesome!”
She straightened up her hair before looking at the camera.
“She was definitely here on Sunday, I asked her if she was friends with the queen but she said no. Then I asked her if she’d ever been to the castle, and she told me that the queen has lots of castles! I was like, OMG, I didn’t know that! She’s so smart!“
The young woman smiled at Georgia.
“You think that's smart, you should see my knowledge in the ring. You'll think I'm psychic the way I can work out my opponent. Thanks a lot for your help, I’m sure I’ll see you around.”
Georgia quickly ushered the camera away hoping to avoid any more ridiculous questions. It was now her turn to direct her attention the camera.
“I’d say that’s enough to prove my point, Dick. For a second there, I really thought I was living in some weird reality where I didn’t exist! I made it clear on social media that I was going to be at that show and that I would be paying very close attention. So, you can make out that I don’t know what I’m talking about because I, ‘haven’t seen you in action’, but it’s just not true. I was there – which these people have just confirmed – and I saw every second of your match.
I get it; you didn’t see me. You still don’t seem to see me; you’re brushing over me like I won’t be the slightest challenge to you. It’s just complete underestimation and it’s going to bite you on the arse. Everyone’s doing it; they’re all backing you over me, but that’s okay. I’m more than happy to have the element of surprise over you.”
You can say that your size means I've no chance of beating you, but size didn't stop Lara Chambers - you know her, you've been sucking up her arse since you got here. She’s smaller than I am, but that didn’t stop her knocking Neville Proctor out of the tournament. Funnily enough, he happens to be just about the same size as you.
I have seen you in action, so I know what I'm up against. You haven't seen me, and when your age holds you back and you become tired, I'll exploit your inability to keep up with this 'blemish'."
