┊out of character┊And here we go again. Have been working on that. On and off lol
┊supporting cast┊Kyra Chambers [Anllela Sagra]
The smell of her expensive perfume was still in the air. Even hours after she had left the comfortable apartment. Lara Chambers was located on the comfortable sofa with her legs stretched out. Sometimes you had no other chance than to fight your own battles. Alone. And dirty. Better to ask for forgiveness than begging permission. The ring of fire around her neck was getting hotter with every second passing. But what life would you lead if not taking any risk? Live life free. Not worrying about a safety net. If you fall make sure to take some bastards with you. Lesson learnt.
┊If you let me down, let me down gently┊
Location: Lara Chamber’s apartment in Hollywood; California
Time: Afternoon after Engage 01
Camera Status: ON/OFF
Like a thunderstorm. Kyra Chambers arrived. The usually quiet and reserved girl stormed inside. In each hand numerous bags- Lara had to grin. It was a blessing seeing her babygirl like that. Happy. At peace. Smiling. But mentioned smile froze the moment the door closed. Dropping her bags where she stood.
KYRA CHAMBERS
“When was Nora here?”
LARA CHAMBERS
“Saying what? You really shopped till you dropped… on your head.”
Lara had no intention on giving in that easily. Her sister was a clever one. Sometimes too clever for her own good. With a few well measured steps she had reached the sofa.
KYRA CHAMBERS
“Really? Sometimes it is insulting how stupid you think I am… .”
LARA CHAMBERS
“I do not think you are stupid at all… Kyra… .”
The younger Chambers let herself fall down on the sofa. A sigh escaping her. Frustrated. Annoyed. Angry. An emotion she barely knew. Therefore she had no idea how to deal with it. Starting to bite her bottom lip.
LARA CHAMBERS
“Okay. I am sorry that was not fair. She just swung by briefly to give me some advice. I know you wanted to see her too… but it is better like this. At least for the moment.”
KYRA CHAMBERS
“You do realise I am not ten years old anymore. Then again you maybe not because we haven’t known each other back then. But as a matter of fact we gotta come clean about something. You can not protect me from the world. We both know how well that worked last time….”
She sighed deeper this time. Her brown eyes focused on Lara. Those bambi eyes. They always worked. And yet she did not even know it. Funny fact, none of the sisters shared an eye color. Kyra had those chocolate brown eyes. Nora had green eyes. And Lara was the one with the big blue ones.
LARA CHAMBERS
“You know about my little problem…. .”
KYRA CHAMBERS
“Killing two people is hardly a little problem. But yeah.”
LARA CHAMBERS
“Why does everybody has to spell it out today?
She felt herself getting angry again. But while she would let it out towards Nora- the same treatment never occurred for Kyra. She was like a holy grail. So no matter what chaos or stress was surrounding her- Kyrz would always get gentle treatment.
LARA CHAMBERS
“Let’s just say moving on from it- is not as easy as I hoped it would be.”
KYRA CHAMBERS
“Sounds a little delusional. I am highly believing that you never move on from something like that. Or it is impossible to forget. But when I got here before the show everything was peachy. Is it because of that old, handsome fellah?”
Lara couldn’t help but smile. She herself did not look at Tommy that way. And Kyra was in no way someone that would jump on him. She was just this friendly person. Point made.
LARA CHAMBERS
“I wouldn’t exactly say it is a problem. Tommy is a good man. Better than most I have met in this life or the last. But Nora is right- to protect myself I gotta play along. I do not wanna hurt him, but sometimes I have to think about my own well being.”
When Kyra looked at her she expected all kinds of answers. But not what really came.
KYRA CHAMBERS
“I agree. If it keeps you safe you gotta do that… .”
LARA CHAMBERS
“What? I thought I would get a list of why this is a bad idea.”
KYRA CHAMBERS
“It is a bad idea. I am not the type of person that could pull an act like that. But I never been in situations like you and Nora. So me judging is the last thing to expect. Tommy seems like a decent guy. But if he is any trouble to you… you gotta take care of it.”
When Lara wanted to reply her phone went off. She motioned towards her sister to wait a second- checking the display.

I will be in town for a while. So we should grab that dinner sooner or later. Call me anytime.
For whatever reason that brought a smile on her face. Lara tried her hardest to shake it off. Focusing on the plan.
KYRA CHAMBERS
“Good news?”
LARA CHAMBERS
“Does yes and no count as answers?”
KYRA CHAMBERS
“Nope.”
The light haired female would stick out her tongue, a sassy grin on her face.
LARA CHAMBERS
“He want’s to have dinner together.”
She did not pay very much attention to what was said next. In her head a thousand scenarios appeared. Very much alive. All the things that could go wrong from here. No plan was ever perfect. Even less when it meant fooling a friend. There were two souls living in the chest of Lara Chambers. At points she did not even know herself which side was winning. The wicked one that was portrayed inside the ring. Or the one that loved and cared way too much.
A constant battle.
In a slow manner she got up from the sofa. Leaving without any verbal explanation. It took only a few moments before she returned with two dresses in hand.
LARA CHAMBERS
“I assume if we burn the world down- at least do it with style.”
No one mourns the wicked.
