Hey all!

Alright, so while there's the Saturday/Sunday down time between deadline and results, I figured that I'd take the time to throw some topics your way and keep you engaged (no pun inte...oh who am I kidding? Of COURSE I intended it)

This little exercise is really simple. Below is a list of all the handlers who currently handle at Engage. All you have to do is copy and paste the list, answering the following questions for the handlers you're familiar with, who you've seen around the circuits for a while. If you don't know the handler, just say so or leave them blank. Whatever you prefer.

I was a little unsure about how to answer it, so I answered each question for everyone.

Ash (Keegan Ryan): 1. I really don't know any, so Keegan is my favourite 2. Funny 3. Not faced him anywhere. 4. I'd probably not want to feud with Keegan, he'd hurt Trixie lol. 5. Keep making me laugh.

Bryan (Van Quinn): 1. I know Bryan lastnameiforgetsorry, but Van is my favourite. 2. Sweet 3. Not faced him anywhere. 4. Not right now, enjoying what's happening, but it could go nasty lol then yes. 5. We need Coach more involved.

Colin (Caite Blackbird): 1. I don't but he has a few I should know. 2. Top-Dog 3. I think I did, almost on another engage. 4. I'd like to see it, he (she)'s making an effort to throw out Caite's view on Trixie, shouldn't go unnoticed (hasn't with me) so I'd like to somewhere, maybe sooner, depends on the results. 5. Davey (The Dons): 1. I know of the dons and after a chat Tommy Quinn, who is my favourite right now, Ernie becoming a close second (Secret Selfish First). 2. Attentive. 3. I don't think I have faced him. 4. Nah lol. Yes of course. Tommy is such a cool character, the dons are cool too. 5. Keep those eagle eyes on everything and produce gold every week.

James (Christian Valentine): 1. Christian is my favourite. 2. Quiet 3. I don't believe we've fought in or out of engage. 4. No, he's too quick with a chair lol. 5. Show me a bit more about Christian.

Jax (Lex Collins): 1. Lex is the only one I know. 2. Cool. 3. I don't think we've fought. 4. I'm not sure, Lex is a yes and a no, don't ask me why. 5. Keep up Lex's RP's and let him shine, it got you to the semi finals.

Kaz (Dani Montero): 1. Dani is the only one I know. 2. Rad 3. I don't believe I have faced Dani or any character elsewhere. 4. I could see a feud with us, she's got moxie. 5. Keep playing the character it's great

Kyle (Isaac Tarver): 1. Isaac is already my favourite. 2. Unknown (to me) 3. I haven't seen other characters so probably not. 4. No, I'm trying to earn that associate title lol, Trixie needs friends in the film business, even if they are just an extra 5. Give me that associate role.

Leila (Georgia Mack): 1. Georgia is since it's the only one I know and a nice girl 2. Sociable 3. I don't think I have faced any characters at all. 4. I don't want to feud with her yet. Georgia's just finding herself a nice spot, so I want her to enjoy it before Trixie ends up taking it, well trying to. 5. Keep up your feedback! I followed your lead

Paco (Dick Devereaux): 1. I did like his clown but Dick Devereaux probably is 2. Sweet 3. Not faced his characters 4. I could see a feud but probably wouldn't want to unless there is a good reason we feud. I'm not ruling it out. 5. Keep being nice like you are.

Sam (Beau Addison): 1. Beau is. 2. Heated 3. Not sure, probably not. 4. I'd not like to feud with him lol since he's already such a heel. He'd be a fun ally. 5. Keep getting that heat from everyone lol, it's great and entertaining

Scott (Walter Hobbs): 1. Walter is the only one and my favourite. 2. Entertaining 3. I don't think I have either. 4. Oh hell yeah, I'd have so much fun in that, he is trying to take Aqua Drop, so there is something there already. 5. Just...just keep doing CD's and RP's, one a day just for me.

Shelly (Lara Chambers): 1. Lara 2. Friendly 3. I haven't faced her competitively elsewhere 4. I'd love to feud with her because she's overflowing with stories and ideas, I'd come out better by feuding with her. But I do like she's an older sister role to Trixie too, so much. I'd have to lose that if we did, kinda don't 5. Keep being yourself

Trevor (Neville Proctor): 1. Neville is the only one I know. 2. Quiet 3. I have not faced him anywhere 4. I'd like to get to know the character better before I want to feud, its teetering on the fence right now. 5. Show us more about Neville

Void (Voidstar): 1. Melissa 2. Adorable 3. I've never faced Void anywhere 4. Sorta/but not feuding, weird atm. Be an indirect feud, having someone else fight her battles and keep him away from her, he's sorta stalking Trixie on social media if you haven't noticed. 5. Keep up the good work with Void but maybe lay off Trix a little lol?

I'll take a swing at this for the fun of it

1. Who is your favourite character from each of the handlers you know on the list and why? Note: You CAN select their current Engage character if you feel they're your favourite.

Andy (Amarillo Nash): I liked Chris Crimson when I first met him in IWA, but for me your best character has been Evan Wolfe. The way you were able to push buttons with him was brilliant to see. I also found myself believing the voice and the attitude. The picture base worked - everything just seemed to work.

Chris (Seth Daniels): For me, it's a toss up between Seth and Ace Devereux. I liked the potential that Ace had and his story seemed to be deep - deeper than perhaps any of your other characters. For that reason he spoke to me more than any of the others, but Seth is up there, no doubt about it.

Colin (Caite Blackbird): This is tough because of your writing style. I always feel like I'm reading a Colin piece, rather than a [INSERT CHARACTER NAME HERE] piece. Your voice always seems to shine through, which is going to happen when the onus is on the dialogue. Having said that, it's hard not to love Ash Scion. Of all you've handled in 'The Davey-verse', she's the one I get most excited by when you tell me you're bringing her in. There's just something real about her, so much so that Hattie Watson is using Ash Scion's face at this point.

Kyle (Isaac Tarver): You know I'm obviously gonna pick Erik Sawyer from back in the day, as I was heavily into my twisted shit. That's a no brainer for me. But I love Isaac Tarver's potential! Very different from what you usually write and I love that you've given yourself that challenge.

Leila (Georgia Mack): Christian & Faith. I've seen a fair few from you, too - but they were just brilliant. They pushed buttons (that's a running theme with me, apparently) and were just so frustratingly brilliant that it just became impossible not to love them. The idea behind them was clever too. One of your only gimmicky character creations and somehow your best, in my opinion.

Scott (Walter Hobbs): This is a tie for me with a few of the cast in the Carter Hayes Universe. Carter himself, Goodman and Sunshine, Jack Cameron, Damian Cole, Cathy Crass and (my personal best of the best) Priscilla Price. The CHU has been, hands down, the most diverse collection of characters I've ever seen in this game and nothing has come close to touching its brilliance. If you're a handler who hasn't had the pleasure of following the cast, you really missed out on a little golden period of this game, and I'm sure everyone who did follow it will agree with me.

Shelly (Lara Chambers): I know of the Chambers girls and Alexandra Kelly. Lara is my favourite, but that's because I've only worked with her so have had more time to know the character. Since joining Deathcore, Lara has really grown as a character, going from someone who didn't really have much about them to being a brilliantly deep and interesting character. Kudos to you for developing her as wonderfully as you have done.

Trevor (Neville Proctor): Oddball! ODDBALL! Owyns was someone you loved to hate but Oddball as the balancing act to Jack's cunty ways was so refreshing and actually enhanced Owyns 100%. You play him so superbly too. Everything about him feels so real and that's one of the signs of a great character, in my opinion.

5. If you had one piece of advice to give any of the following handlers on the list whom you know, what would it be?

Andy (Amarillo Nash): Learn to enjoy your writing more and accept that winning and losing in a game based on criteria doesn't define you as a writer. Your ability to tell a story, flesh out characters and maintain a positive enthusiasm for the craft is what defines you. You're one of the most skilled - if not the most skilled - writers I've ever rubbed shoulders with. That's a fact. Defeats won't change that.

Ash (Keegan Ryan): Don't be afraid to ask for help when it comes to grasping the fundamentals of grammar. We're all at different stages of learning and those further ahead should be happy to aid you if you want to develop.

Bryan (Van Quinn): The more you get involved with the fed, the more you'll get out of it. So much promise for the character and directions to go, we just need to push forward and get him there.

Colin (Caite Blackbird): Keep having fun and ignore those haters who criticise and tear the game down, when guys like you are the ones trying to build it up and offer variety. Jax (Lex Collins): You entertain me because it's immediately clear that you are a writer, not a roleplayer. You are an author, not an e-wrestler. If you fuse your unrivalled ability to the roleplaying scoring system, you will be untouchable, in my opinion - so I almost don't want you to do that lol. But I hope you understand that if ever you recieve feedback on "how to improve" it can only ever be as a roleplayer HERE, because as a writer, what's left to tell? You've got "it".

Kyle (Isaac Tarver): Don't disappear this time! You're too good to slip away into the night lol.

Leila (Georgia Mack): Don't change a thing. Simple as that. Also, thank you for always being there.

Paco (Dick Devereaux): Keep taking the advice given to you and you'll be a legitimate world beater, because you do take it on board. You don't allow ego to get in the way of good advice.

Scott (Walter Hobbs): Don't listen to anyone who says that you're anything less than an absolute genius. The sharpest mind in this hobby in my opinion. You do what you do because it's engrained into your DNA. Nobody can or should be able to knock you down because it'd be impossible given your skill and also irrelevant because the opinions of the few don't define you. Also, thank you for always being there.

Shelly (Lara Chambers): Stop worrying about other people's opinions on you and start focusing on all the positives that you've accomplished and demonstrate on a daily basis. Brilliant grasp of the English language, a thrist for literature and the creative art of story telling. Never forget that this is a game for the players, not the cynics.

Trevor (Neville Proctor): Remember who your friends are and who'll always be there for ya. Also, thank you for always being there for me.

Trixie (Trixie): Keep that enthusiasm that you've shown since arriving here. You are the proof that a 'Davey-verse' fed doesn't circle jerk, because you've come in as a total outsider and have integrated yourself brilliantly. Never stop developing and never stop writing. You'll only get better and better with your attitude.

Void (Voidstar): Stick with script format - it's working for you. Although don't be afraid to change the font to courier new!

Shelly and Colin are probably a tie on that regard although I don't know if Colin even remembers the time Kyle Cross and Jackson faced each other a million years ago. Shelly and I had some great build with Jax vs Alex Kelly in Carnage that was ruined by outside garbage and terrible fedheading.

4. Who, from the list of handlers at Engage, would you most like to feud with and why? Chris or Void. Chris because I think Daniels and Lex would be a great clash given character personalities. Void because of the violence.

5. If you had one piece of advice to give any of the following handlers on the list whom you know, what would it be? All of you need to keep doing what you're doing because you're all phenomenal writers. <3

Andy (Amarillo Nash) - Evan Wolfe has definitely been my favourite. He was his own character but also had the elements of Chris Crimson that I really liked. All his pieces were great, but I particularly loved the one you posted following the Deathcore finale. Also, got to give a shout to Victor Grand, he was brilliantly captured and never failed to entertain.

Chris (Seth Daniels) - I only saw a little from him, but I really liked Ace Devereux. I loved his confident facade on the timelines and things, but then the really deep, heart string pulling CD. Always a winner for me

Colin (Caite Blackbird) - Going quite a while back here, but I liked Alyssa Pryde (sorry if that's spelt wrong!) I really felt she had her own voice and she was unnerving, but in a really gripping way. She really stands out to me.

Davey (The Dons) - This is hard, so I'm not going to stick to one haha. Lora Shaw, Nate Harrington and The Sorority are the three I'm torn between. All great in their own way, but I suspect that had The Sorority had more time they'd have become my favourite of yours. I can only imagine the direction they would have went. They drove people crazy on timelines and it was hilarious to watch.

Scott (Walter Hobbs) - As with Davey, I can't pick just one for you, so I'll cheat and just say The Carter Hayes Universe. They were all amazingly thought out and developed as time went by. Each character had it's own story to tell and I followed every one, glued to that CD board haha. Obviously Carter Hayes will always hold a special place in my heart though haha.

Shelly (Lara Chambers) - I've seen your other characters on Twitter so I know that's not enough to tell, but I get the feeling my favourite would still be Lara. I think you've developed her really well since I first saw her in Deathcore and I loved how you played her out during that entire storyline and that you've carried it forward here. I'm really enjoying following it.

Trevor (Neville Proctor) - Jack Owyns will always be my favourite I think. He too had a great story that I really loved following. You could always count on him to be as nasty as possible, but yet really endearing in those CD pieces near the end of IWA. Obviously Oddball was just the icing on the cake

I had a lot of fun with Grace Taylor Vs Jack Owyns (Trevor) and Priscilla (Scott). Both were great feuds in their own right. I've only faced Andy once, but enjoyed it. Unfortunately haven't really faced any of the others, strangely lol.

4. Who, from the list of handlers at Engage, would you most like to feud with and why?

Genuinely everyone. All the handlers here seem to give 100% and thats what you need for a great feud so I'd happily feud with any of them.

5. If you had one piece of advice to give any of the following handlers on the list whom you know, what would it be?

No individual advice really. I think that everyone is doing really well, and I can see some people in particular (Dick Devereaux, Voidstar) quickly grasping the argument concept which is great because mixed with their creativity should quickly catapult them. Everyone just keep doing what you're doing because I'm loving it all
