ENGAGE Wrestling C.E.O Patrick Becker has released an official statement following the recent allegations on last night’s broadcast.
“I wish to express my anger and disappointment during last night’s broadcast of Engage, when my character and behaviour were both brought into question during allegations delivered to Georgia Mack.
These allegations are wholly untruthful. It is a direct breach of my own company policy to engage in any relationships with employees beyond that of a professional capacity. It was particularly upsetting to have these allegations made against me with someone whom I have known since their childhood. I have an exceptionally close personal relationship with several senior members of the Mack family, who no doubt share the frustrations that I do over these malicious allegations.
The imagery that was shown during the broadcast had been taken completely out of context and turned an innocent greeting into something more than what it was; something more sinister and sordid.
I wish to make it clear that beyond this personal statement, my attorney will have the responsibility of handling this matter. I intend to move forward with legal action against those behind these allegations, as they are tantamount to slander and defamation of my character.
I am working closely with the relevant authorities to uncover the identity of the content’s creator. This behaviour will not be tolerated.”
